This week I zipped along to the grand unveiling of the new look of the Carrickmines Mothercare store, plus their SS18 collection.
Think cupcakes, magic, face painting and a fashion show, complete with a blue catwalk showcasing lots of gorge clothes for the summer time!
I know, I know, rough gig right?
I have to admit, the stores makeover looks superb, because between you and me, the layout inside was a bit messy and I just never felt that they used the massive space to its full potential.
Now though, it’s so much clearer and cleaner. It feels less cluttered and it’s as if they’ve put in a whole new bank of skylights, it’s so airy and refreshing.
Clothes wise, there is so much to covet here!
Michele McGrath hosted the SS18 kid’s fashion show with some adorable mini superstars to showcase the latest pieces by Little Bird by Jools Oliver and My K by Myleene Klass ranges as well as Mothercare’s own signature Summer Collection.

The little dude was contemplating taking to the blue carpet in his Cute Sailor top by Mothercare.
I’ve already bought a load of shorts and t shirts for the little dude… and what happened, the heavens open! Typical.
Anyway, if you fancy getting down there for a mooch, then I recommend you go this Saturday 12th May as they’ll be hosting a massive the store relaunch with lots of special offers and giveaways along with entertainment for the little ones.
