Hands up any other tired mamas who could do with a sugar injection? It’s been a long week of tantrums in this house, so I can think of nothing more welcome than a super sweet treat and these marshmallow crispie squares should hit the spot.
I’ve added in caramel toffees for extra sinfulness, just cos!
These are a cinch to make, so the kids could help too… just don’t let them get any of the marshmallow molten toffee mixture in their hair...
Ingredients-
115g Mini Marshmallows
115g Unsalted Butter
115g Caramel Toffees
115g Crisp Rice Cereal
White chocolate to decorate (optional)
Method -
Melt the marshmallows, butter and toffees in a bowl over a saucepan of hot water until soft and creamy.
Pour the mixture over the crisp rice cereal and mix thoroughly.
Place in a pre-greased baking tin 20cm X 28cm x 3cm.
Put into the fridge and leave to set for about 2 hours or more.
Cut into squares and if desired drizzle with some melted white chocolate and gobble with wild abandon!
