As you probably know, I’m a bit of a mug lover… used to be shoes (you know pre child!) but now mugs of coffee have become my new couture.

I’m also fond of taking a humorous look at the realities of motherhood, so I thought why not combine those two passions and maybe do a

little good while I’m at it and boom the TheMammyblog.ie Mugs are born… 11lbs and 95oz, both mum and baby are doing well.

Yes that’s right, I’ve created a limited number of Mammyblog.ie Mugs, and I’ve decided that €1 from the sale of each will go to the charity Parentline which offers non-judgemental support mums going through post-natal depression (as well offering parents support, information and guidance on all aspects of being a parent and any parenting issues).

As you also probably know, I went through feelings of post-natal depression after my first son was born, so finding ways to help mums currently navigating their way through PND is always something I try very hard to do any way I can.    

So whether you fancy filling these babies with coffee that you know will go cold and you’ll end up reheating 10 times, or a sneaky shot of something else, I hope they bring a little smile to your face.
