My Top Netflix Picks For February

Well I can safely say I got to binge on Netflix at least for a couple of evenings over the last few weeks! We’re knee deep in Leap 9 here and let’s just say that my toddlers unreasonableness has kicked up to about 11!

Anyway, in between the nuttiness I got to watch The Sinner and I absolutely loved it! Jess Biel was a revelation and as for that song? I could not get it out of my head… turns out it’s a real track though called ‘Huggin and Kissin’ by Big Black Delta… you’re singing it now aren’t you. Anyway, the story had enough twists and turns to keep me guessing and I was a little sad that there weren’t more series in the works.

I also devoured Black Mirror in one weekend. My God that series just gets better and better, with a couple of surprisingly non-bleak endings too! If you haven’t yet watched it, then sit down and do it and for the fellow mamas I suggest you start with Archangel, it will really make you think about the role of technology in our kids’ lives and how much we can or should monitor it and them!

But for this month? Well as usual there is lots to sink your teeth into! I’ve highlighted a few of top picks below.

Let me know in the comments what you’re planning to binge on and in the meantime, here’s what I’m looking forward to watching this month. #NetflixStreamTeam

Feb Top Picks

Damnation: Season 1 Streaming  February 1

Starring our very own Tommy AKA Killian Scott from LOVE/HATE in the lead role this Netflix original looks fantastic and also stars Logan Marshall-Green. Set in a rural Iowa community during the Great Depression, a stranger with a violent past poses as a preacher and rallies the farmers to mount a strike.

Altered Carbon: Season 1 Streaming February 2

This is going to be a biggie! And if you’re a sci-fi fan then you’ll probably already know this based on the classic cyberpunk novel by Philip K. Dick. With a very Blade Runner feel to it, the new series stars the dishy Joel Kinnaman and is set over 300 years in the future, when human minds are digitized and downloaded from body to body.

My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman: George Clooney  Streaming February 9

It’s great to see chat show legend David Letterman back in the chair with this new monthly series of in-depth interviews where he chats to just one person. These are people he admires or finds interesting. He started off the series with Barack Obama and this month we’ve got new dad George Clooney!

The Revenant Streaming February 23

If, like me, you missed Leo DiCaprio’s Oscar winning turn in this ultimate tale of survival in the cinema, then you can catch if from the comfort of your own couch.
